I am writing this letter to you today with heartfelt appreciation on behalf of my entire family for the extraordinary job Asst. District Attorney Tom D'Amore and his team did prosecuting the man responsible for the death of my husband, Jolyn Paole (Joe).

The trial began back on July 20 and concluded the following Thursday.  Needless to say it was a tremendous strain on us all! And without the sincere kindness and consideration of Mr. D'Amore and his staff, I don't know how we would have endured those four days. 

Mr. D'Amore's caring and concern and his sensitivity to our needs as "Victims" was exemplary in every way.  We were able to draw strength from his confidence and self-assuredness. And he successfully obtained a guilty verdict on both counts - Intoxication Manslaughter and Failure to Stop and Render Aide.  The jury gave the defendant twenty years and five years respectively.
