The late Karen J. Greene, District Judge of the 282nd Judicial District Court, wrote the letter below in support of
Tom D’Amore’s 1999 nomination for the Henry Wade Award for Dallas County Prosecutor of the year. In the letter, Judge Greene characterized Tom’s trial skills as, “... among the best I’ve ever seen.” Moreover, Judge Greene praised Tom D’Amore for how well he performed his duties as lead prosecutor in State vs. Carlton Turner, a capital murder death case that received intense media coverage.
